Berkovitz Development Group Ltd have been active in Belize since 2012, becoming one of the best known and established real estate developers in the country.
We completed and sold out our first community known as “The Palms at Corozal” a few years back, and since then we have been undertaking a lot of construction work, as well as develop The Enclave at The Palms. We are also the developers (in partnership) of The Diplomat in Belize City, an oceanfront condo building along the northern highway, which is home to “Social Lounge” - the top ranked upscale wine bar in Belize.
We have built up a solid Belizean “land bank” over the years, and we are committed to developing projects in the long term, both undertaking development of planned residential communities, as well as providing construction services on a larger scale.
Who is Andreas B. Johansson?
Andreas is the Founder and CEO of the company and oversees both the Belizean- and the U.S. activities. Having spent his entire career in real estate, he enjoys the vastly different businesses, and the challenges and rewards they present. Andreas is very proud of the excellent team he has built in Belize, which means day to day he has very little involvement in the running of the business, and can instead focus on other endeavors, as well as look for new acquisition- and expansion opportunities.
Mr. Johansson is the owner of Minor league pro hockey’s Binghamton Black Bears (a member of the Federal Prospects Hockey League) a writer for Forbes Magazine, and is proud to have some of the most famous athletes and celebrities in the world as his friends and clients.
He founded a vodka brand together with Dennis Rodman in 2013, before going on to be a TV host for Fusion TV, before ultimately returning to the real estate industry full time.
Our U.S. side of the business has offices in cities nationwide, with a particular focus on the Midwest.
We provide services primarily to investment funds- and syndicates, sourcing and selling large packages of performing, high yielding properties in traditionally “challenging” markets. Our niche has been to be able to find large volumes of homes, refurbish them, tenant- and stabilize them, before selling them on to large customers who are looking to buy performing assets. Over the years, we have grown to be one of the biggest in our sector, selling exclusively to institutional clients rather than to individual investors.
